Increasing Your Awareness to Phishing

Yorkshire Bank has become aware of a recent increase in email phishing attempts. The email being circulated suggests a message awaits customers on our website and offers a link to log in. Once clicked the link takes you to a fake YB site where if accessed your details could become compromised. Never share personal or security information on a website you’ve reached via a link on an email. We’ll never email you a link which takes you straight to our Internet Banking login page.

As always our advice is to forward any suspicious emails to reportphishing-yb@cbonline.co.uk, then DELETE THE EMAIL.
